How Do I Prepare for a Bronzed Humanity Luxury Spray Tan?

• Exfoliate your skin! Use an exfoliating/body/sugar scrub, loofah or sponge to slough off any excess dead skin before your appointment. A spray tan loves clean, even textured skin.

• Shave or Wax at least 8 hours before your appointment. *You can shave 24hrs AFTER Spray Tan. 

• Style hair in ponytail or clip so it is out of the way.

• Schedule all manicure, pedicure, waxing, facials, hair and massage appointments before your tan.

• Hold off from using lotions, oils, moisturizers, foundations, deodorants or perfumes prior to your tan. These products will prevent our tanning solution from reaching your skin.

• Better yet, if possible, rinse thoroughly right before your luxury airbrush. Make sure the water isn't too hot.

• Lastly, Bring along something loose to wear after, you won't want anything to rub on the tan immediately after.

How Do I Take Care of My Spray Tan?

​

• Leave the all natural, vegan solution on your skin for 8 hours. Water, sweat, and rubbing from clothes should be avoided during this time period. Please, no working out for 24 hours​

• If you would like to sleep with the solution on and rinse off the next day this is perfectly fine too. Please put on pants and be careful with wrapping of sheets. 

• The Express solution should be rinsed off based on what your artist instructed (2 - 4 hours after application depending on skin type) should NOT be left on overnight, the rapid solution can be drying on the skin. No soap, no hot hot water, you may lotion after rinse ONLY if you have a all natural moisturizer. The solution continues to develop after your rinse. 

• Pat your skin dry lightly with a towel.

• If you go into a pool, hot tub or ocean, rinse thoroughly after and moisturize as soon as possible. 

• We recommend an all natural soap & lotion. Especially for 7 days after you spray tan, use a soap and lotion combination at least once a day. Moisturize twice a day for optimal spray tan glow.

• For 7 days after you bronze don't use any mineral oils on your skin. Only use Natural Products.

• Exfoliate lightly when the tan starts to fade (about 7 days)

• Call/Contact Bronzed Humanity when your spray tan starts to fade. We can't wait to see you again.
